Ever wonder who is behind all the creative and flavorful dishes offered at Blue Agave Club? Meet Chef Manuel Ruiz. Chef Manuel has been a part of The Blue Agave Club family for over 18 years. Though he has had experience in the restaurant industry for over 20+ years, it took him several years to master the art of cooking. Attending a professional culinary art school in Mexico, Manuel worked under renowned chefs Ricardo Munoz and Roberto Santibanez. With the guidance of chef/owner Alexandro Garcia, he was able to further develop his culinary skills right here in Pleasanton, CA.
He praises the many chefs who have mentored him over the years for contributing to his success in the kitchen. He has since become a common face at the restaurant and you will often finds he likes to personally check in with guests to get their feedback and ensure everyone is completely satisfied. In fact, our customers are one of the first things that comes to mind when he is seeking inspiration for a new dish.
