About Us
WE OFFER MORE THAN JUST A MEAL
Located in the heart of downtown Pleasanton, Blue Agave Club first opened its doors in April, 1997. Being the very first restaurant in the area to debut high-end Mexican cuisine, it was clear there was something special about Blue Agave from the very beginning. Boasting an impressive list of premium tequila, BAC had a huge impact on our community by introducing the art of tequila tasting. It wasn’t long before we quickly became well known for our 100% Blue Agave Tequila margaritas, featuring a secret homemade sweet and sour recipe.

Owner/Chef Alexandro Garcia collaborated with current head chef of BAC, Manuel Ruiz, as well as head chef at sister restaurant, AGAVE, Ramon Sepulveda, to create an exquisite and unique menu. Focusing on bringing something new and fresh to the East Bay, they also paid tribute to their roots by using traditional recipes passed down for generations through the Garcia family. Redefining expectations, they focused on combining exciting presentations with authentic and rich flavors. Always looking for new ways to wow our guests, Chef Alexandro maintains a hands-on approach with all the dishes, by constantly experimenting and refining new and old dishes.
